Client feedback

What architects, developers, and project managers say about working with Levela.

"Levela Deconstruction was a valued partner on the ARO Flood Recovery project for Auckland Council, delivering a systematic approach to deconstruction and subcontractor management across more than 50 homes. Their commitment to sustainability achieved over 85% diversion from landfill and contributed strongly to the project’s success."
Tim Carter
Project manager, JFC
"Levela have been incredible partners over the years supplying us with reclaimed wood.  We merely tell them our requirements (fencing, framing and sometimes native) and BOOM -  it’s onsite.  A circular economy is based on working partnerships which allow both community and businesses to thrive.  Our community is filled with high end furniture, garden beds and even rat traps for pest free initiatives because of wood Levela donate.  We are forever grateful."

FAQs

Common questions about our deconstruction process, timelines, and capabilities.

How long does a typical strip-out take?

Most office and retail projects complete in two to four weeks depending on size and complexity. Larger multi-level works are staged and may extend across several phases. We provide detailed timelines during the planning phase.

Can you work in occupied buildings?

Yes. We manage live site deconstruction with strict protocols for noise, dust, and access control. Staging and scheduling are coordinated with facility management to minimise disruption to ongoing operations.

What safety certifications do you hold?

We hold current Health and Safety at Work Act certifications and maintain documented safety plans for all projects. Full details are available in our Documentation section.

Do you handle waste disposal?

We manage all waste streams including segregation, recycling, and disposal. Materials are handled according to environmental and compliance standards.

Can you provide references?

We have completed projects for architects, developers, and facility managers across New Zealand. Case studies and client references are available upon request.
